STACK Infrastructure is seeking an OT Systems Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure OT infrastructure for hyperscale data centre environments in the Siziano/Milan area. You will work with BMS, EPMS, and other critical site systems, delivering hands-on support across Windows/Linux, VMware, and automation tasks.

Based onsite near Milan, the role requires collaboration with internal teams and vendors to ensure performance, reliability, and security in a high-availability setting.

Competenze

• Experience as a Systems Engineer in enterprise, critical infrastructure, or data centre environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, VMware-based virtualization, and secure, high-availability infrastructure.
• Experience with troubleshooting, systems administration, and operational support in complex technical environments.
• Understanding of security best practices, patching, backup, and system resilience.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible is beneficial.
• Familiarity with OT systems such as BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, or HMIs would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Azure/cloud infrastructure or Microsoft/VMware certifications would be beneficial.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; English proficiency at B2/C1.

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimise OT systems infrastructure across critical data centre environments.
• Support Windows, Linux, VMware, and virtualised platforms to maintain performance, resilience, security, and service continuity.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues or bottlenecks, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents with internal teams and vendors; drive root cause resolution and preventive actions.
• Support monitoring, patching, backup, maintenance, and documentation across OT systems.
• Apply security, operational, and regulatory best practices in high-availability environments.
• Participate in out-of-hours or emergency support to maintain service continuity.
