TXT Novigo System Engineer

TXT Novigo, a leader in IT services for the financial market and part of the TXT Group, is looking for a System Engineer.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a System Engineer who will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing IT solutions (systems, servers, and networks), ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. The successful candidate will implement cybersecurity solutions, support regulatory compliance, and work closely with both external clients and internal application development teams, providing technical consultancy and contributing to the strategic planning of IT infrastructures. The role will also involve supporting internal development teams in maintaining and enhancing security controls across the application landscape.

What requirements should you have?

• You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role;
• You have hands‑on experience implementing IT security measures and are familiar with major security frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and OWASP;
• You have strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing and switching, firewall configuration and management, DNS, and network troubleshooting;
• You are familiar with major operating systems and core infrastructure services, including Windows Client/Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Certification Authority;
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team;
• You have a consulting mindset and a strong customer‑oriented approach;
• You can manage your workload independently and effectively prioritize assigned tasks;
• You are curious, eager to learn, analytical, and passionate about problem solving.

The following technical skills will be considered a plus:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including security best practices;
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for infrastructure automation, provisioning, and monitoring;
• Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Hybrid Cloud environments, Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune), and VMware vSphere/ESXi;
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration;
• Experience using monitoring, logging, and vulnerability assessment tools;
• Familiarity with Endpoint Protection, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and Patch Management solutions.

Contract Type: Permanent

Gross Annual Salary (RAL): 30.000,00 € - 40.000,00 €

The employment level and compensation package will be defined during the selection process, based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, in accordance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Tertiary Sector - Confcommercio.
