VCUBE S.r.l., part of SYS-DAT Group, invites applications for a Junior Cyber Security Systems Engineer to support client projects in the Parma region, with primary work at client sites around Reggio Emilia.

The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys teamwork, and seeks growth in cybersecurity, networking, and security operations across Linux and Windows environments, including SSL certs and basic vulnerability tasks.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with networking equipment and TCP/IP, OSI, VLAN, NAT, trunking.
• Knowledge of security concepts including NAT, policy rules, IPsec VPN.
• Experience with at least one firewall type: Cisco ASA or Check Point.
• Experience managing SSL digital certificates in Linux and Windows environments.

Responsabilités

• Assist in securing client networks and systems at client sites.

• Support ongoing security monitoring and incident response tasks.

To strengthen its internal structure, VCUBE S.r.l., a company of the SYS-DAT Group based in Reggio Emilia, is seeking:

JUNIOR CYBER SECURITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER

We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to work primarily at our client companies in the Parma area.

The ideal candidate should be a proactive individual eager to continue growing, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and making a positive and distinctive contribution to the entire team.

Requirements

• Solid experience with networking equipment (switches, routers, load balancers, etc.) and concepts and features such as the TCP/IP protocol, the ISO/OSI stack, VLAN tagging, NAT, trunking, etc.
• Knowledge of security (NAT, policy rules, IPsec VPN, etc.)
• Knowledge of at least one of these two types of firewalls: Cisco ASA and Check Point network devices
• Experience managing SSL digital certificates used in web applications in both Linux and Microsoft environments

Knowledge of the following will also be considered a plus:

• Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
• OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) Certifications
