Arup in Milan is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Technician to join the Building Services Engineering Team. You will design electrical services for complex buildings and prepare contract documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality MEP installations.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services, 4–5 years post-qualification experience in consultancy, and proficiency in Revit, with strong knowledge of Italian regulations and

Competenze

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or another relevant qualification.
4 or 5 years post-qualification experience in Building Services, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment.
Proficient in Revit.
Strong knowledge of Italian building regulations and relevant industry standards.
Excellent communication and report writing in both English and Italian.

Mansioni

Act as a key part of the Building Services Engineering Team.
Prepare the design and contract documentation and specifications.
Design electrical distribution, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire detection & alarm, ICT, security, and vertical transportation.
Design electrical services and installations for complex building services projects across sectors.
Ensure that all design and documentation are prepared to the highest standards.
Compile project reports and conceptual design studies.
Liaise with supply chain and contractors to coordinate delivery of MEP installations.
