With a Master's degree and substantial experience, you will mentor junior colleagues and lead projects, making a significant impact for both clients and the planet.

THE ROLE

As a Sustainability Manager focusing on client relationships, you will lead client engagements, manage major accounts, and oversee complex projects within the Food & Beverage sector. You will cultivate strategic partnerships, identify new opportunities, secure new business, and co‑create solutions aligned with client needs, contributing significantly to the company's revenue growth and strengthening our market presence.

You will craft and implement account strategies that reflect client priorities and sustainability goals, working closely with internal experts to ensure quality and consistency across delivery. You will collaborate with experienced consultants and junior colleagues to deliver impactful work primarily within your sector, occasionally contributing to projects across other areas. In doing so, you will advance your consulting and relationship‑management skills in a collaborative, purpose‑driven environment.

You will also mentor junior colleagues and may progressively take on line‑management responsibilities to support their growth and development.

• You are actively shaping your long‑term path as a business development professional and feel confident managing accounts in the Food & Beverage sector.

• You have proven experience in project management.
• You have solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent experience that equips you to guide companies to understand and design transformative, science‑based strategy (Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, etc.).
• You have a science‑based mindset.
• You are motivated for teamwork and can coach, teach and mentor team members with your knowledge and skills.
• You are confident using generative AI tools while maintaining a critical and thoughtful mindset.
• You communicate effectively in fluent Italian and English.

What You Might Also Bring To The Role

• Additional knowledge in further corporate sustainability topics and/or sectors beyond your specific sector.
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Footprinting.
• Good knowledge of sustainability frameworks relevant to your expertise area.

As you develop and manage projects, you will be ready to lead large teams to deliver complex projects and to own senior client relationships, becoming the primary contact and trusted advisor for clients. Your next step will be Sustainability Principal, where you will drive business development at a strategic level across your sector.

• Contract: Permanent
• Location: Milan (you may be expected to work at the client's office and/or travel there at times)
• Optimal start date: As soon as possible
• Punctual collaboration with other Quantis branches via web‑conference
• Ability to travel occasionally

Compensation Information

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, and a benefits package described below. The offer range for this role is EUR 46.000,00 – EUR 61.300,00. The final offer will be reflected in your offer document and will be based on objective, role‑related criteria such as your relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
