Job summary

Safilo Group is seeking a motivated Sustainability Intern to join our Padova HQ for a 6-month internship in ESG data collection, analysis and reporting. You will support disclosures, benchmarks, and stakeholder communications across environmental and social topics.

Responsibilities

• Support ESG ratings and assessments: data collection, analysis and documentation.
• Collect, organize and analyze sustainability data for internal reporting.
• Assist with sustainability disclosures, presentations, and materials.
• Contribute to group sustainability projects across environmental and social topics.
• Support benchmarking and research on sustainability trends and regulations.
• Monitor regulatory landscape and assess relevance for the Group.
• Collaborate with corporate functions to gather information and support sustainability activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day sustainability projects and stakeholder requests.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a brilliant and motivated new resource to join our Group Sustainability team at Padova HQ. The internship will last 6 months and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the eyewear industry.

As a Sustainability Intern, you will be involved in:

• Supporting activities related to ESG ratings and assessments, including data collection, analysis and preparation of relevant documentation;
• Collecting, organizing and analyzing sustainability‑related data and information, supporting internal reporting and monitoring activities;
• Supporting the preparation of sustainability disclosures, presentations and other internal and external materials;
• Contributing to the Group’s ongoing sustainability projects and initiatives across environmental and social topics;
• Supporting research and benchmarking activities on sustainability trends, regulations and industry best practices;
• Supporting the team in monitoring the evolving sustainability regulatory landscape and assessing its relevance for the Group;
• Collaborating with different corporate functions to gather information and support sustainability‑related activities;
• Supporting the team in the day‑to‑day coordination of sustainability projects and stakeholder requests.

You are the person we are looking for if:

• You hold a university degree in Management and Sustainability, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields;
• You are fluent in English;
• You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable using digital tools, with an interest in leveraging AI to support research, analysis and everyday activities;
• You are precise, detail‑oriented, and organized;
• You are a collaborative team player, able to work towards objectives and manage tight deadlines;
• You are curious, proactive and eager to learn, with a problem‑solving mindset.
• You are motivated to work in a dynamic and international environment.
