Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking a seasoned professional to conduct daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf, coordinate with the Yard teams, and support during the vessel’s construction, commissioning, and sea trials.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, a maritime background, at least 5 years in a similar role, and proven skills in Microsoft Office, communication, and relationship building.

Mansioni

  • Conduct daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf per shipyard schedule.
  • Follow up open items from construction with Yard representatives and attend meetings on defects/remarks.
  • Report progress to the Manager, Machinery & Piping and monitor open items.
  • Cooperate with the operating company team at the Yard during inspection and commissioning.
  • Take part in sea trials.
  • Support the operating company after delivery to address open items from construction/commissioning.
  • Assist Machinery & Piping team on vessel project topics and FAT participation.
  • Engage in patrolling activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf in accordance with the shipyard schedule
  • Follow up open items from the construction process with the Yard representatives and attend meetings with the Yard technical office and production teams for defects and remarks discussion and resolution
  • Report to the Manager, Machinery & Piping with reference to the progress of the production, the status of the open items and potential main open issues
  • Cooperate with the operating company team at the Yard during the inspection and commissioning period
  • Take part in the sea trials
  • Support the operating company after the Vessel delivery to follow up open items coming from the construction and commissioning period and/or to complete part of the commissioning after delivery
  • Support the Machinery & Piping team for specific topics relevant to the Vessel project development
  • Take part in FAT on Owner’s behalf
  • Patrolling activities
QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: High School Diploma

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Maritime

EXPERIENCE 5 years within a similar role

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS Confident using Microsoft Office Suite

Proficient in the English Language (B1 or above)

Demonstratable Team Working Skills

Excellent Communication Skills

Technical Proficiency within Machinery and Piping

Ability to Manage and Build Relationships

Time Management
