Brainlab in Italy is seeking a dedicated Support Specialist RT to install and service radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems, and to support customers across the region. The role emphasizes after‑sales service, calibrations, and customer training, with substantial travel and a home-office setup.

You will be the technical face for Brainlab, collaborating with physicists and clinical teams, and ensuring high-quality service while expanding knowledge across Europe.

Competenze

• Degree/Certification in Medical Physics or Medical Dosimetry.
• Knowledge of IT networking and ability to diagnose IT issues.
• Experience with linear accelerators is an advantage.
• Prior service/maintenance in robotics or electro-mechanics is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Strong social, teamwork and self-management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to ~80% of the time.

Mansioni

• Install radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems in the region and nearby countries.
• Provide after-sales service including diagnosis, maintenance and repairs.
• Act as the technical Brainlab representative, communicating effectively with customers.
• Conduct routine calibrations and preventive maintenance services.

To help our customers in the field of radiotherapy and radiosurgery, Brainlab is looking for a home office based field service engineer in Rome,Naplesor a nearby city.

As a Support Specialist RT your main task will include:

• to install the radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems for the customers in your region and in Spain, partly also in Portugal and other countries in Europe
• to provide after-sales service for our radiotherapy and radiosurgery systems, including diagnosis tasks as well as service, maintenance and repairs
• to act as the technical Brainlab face to the customer bycommunicating efficiently with the clients,understanding any problems which arise and responding in the most appropriate manner
• to conduct routine calibrations as well as preventive maintenance services
• to makeour customers - e.g. physicist Team -familiar with Brainlab products; furthercustomer training is then performed by a dedicated trainer team
• to provide full service satisfaction to clients
  • You have a Degree/Certification in Medical Physics, Medical Dosimetry, radiation therapy technicians or equivalent
  • You have a very good knowledge in the field of informatics as well as experience in diagnosing issues in IT infrastructure and networking topics
  • Your good knowledge of linear accelerators is also an advantage for this position
  • Prior experience in service/maintenance in the field of robotics and/or electro mechanics
  • Proficiency of English and Italianboth written and spoken are a necessity to be successful in this position
  • Excellent social, team-work and self-management skills
  • You are highly flexibility and would be willing to travel around 80% of the time for your position
