Job summary

Segula Technologies in Piedmont, Italy seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier relationships and drive quality improvements for a key customer. You will lead PSA assessments, determine root causes, and implement timely resolutions, with on-site support within 24 hours if needed.

The role requires ensuring supplier adherence to APQP and PPAP protocols, and developing plans to secure quoted capacity using Run at Rate techniques.

Qualifications

Segula Technolgies is looking for one Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes:

• Represent the company and own the relationship with Suppliers
• Perform Potential supplier assessment “PSA”
• Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions
• Manage supplier crisis with on-site support within 24 hrs when required
• Assure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements
• Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbook
• Improve quality performance of suppliers, running workshops at supplier site and assisting supplier in developing a robust quality system
