CAREL is seeking a Supplier Quality professional to join the team and drive quality performance across the supply chain, collaborating with Procurement, R&D and Quality to qualify suppliers, monitor manufacturing processes, and promote corrective actions.

You will support supplier qualification, monitor KPI trends, and lead corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, while ensuring PPAP processes and manufacturing validations meet our quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier quality management and audits.
• Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for KPI interpretation.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Autonomous, proactive and collaborative with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• supporting the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers through process and system audits;
• monitoring supplier quality performance through KPI analysis, periodic audits and the definition of improvement plans;
• managing supplier non-conformities and leading corrective actions by applying structured problem-solving methodologies, such as 8D;
• overseeing the supplier PPAP process and validating the manufacturing processes used for components subject to approval;
• collaborating with Procurement and R&D during product development, supporting supplier selection and evaluating the related manufacturing processes;
• assessing supplier changes involving processes, materials, tooling and manufacturing sites;
• developing and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of purchased components and products;
• promoting a strong quality culture across the supply chain and ensuring effective cross-functional coordination with the stakeholders involved.

Posizione

The selected candidate will join the Supplier Quality team and will be responsible for ensuring and continuously improving the quality performance of assigned suppliers. Working in close collaboration with Procurement, R&D and the Quality team, the role involves supporting supplier qualification, monitoring manufacturing processes and promoting corrective and improvement actions throughout the supply chain.

Specifically, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• supporting the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers through process and system audits;
• monitoring supplier quality performance through KPI analysis, periodic audits and the definition of improvement plans;

Requisiti

• solid knowledge of supplier quality management, supplier development and auditing processes;
• knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D and root-cause analysis;
• knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan and quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949;
• good understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial technologies;
• good command of Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to interpret quality KPIs;
• strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills, combined with a quality- and results-oriented approach;
• proactive and autonomous working approach, combined with flexibility, adaptability and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
