Silanos in Lombardy (Pioltello) seeks an analytical professional for supply chain and production planning. You will work with BOMs, MRP/ERP data, and cost modeling to drive decisions and improvements.

You will own KPI dashboards, analyze demand patterns, and lead cross-functional projects, delivering actionable insights and cost reductions.

Descrizione del lavoro

• 3–7 years of experience in analytical roles in Supply Chain, Operations, Production Engineering within manufacturing environments.
• Direct experience with Bills of Materials (BOM), MRP/ERP systems and production planning logic.
• Experience in building cost models (should-cost, TCO) and/or make-or-buy analysis is considered preferential.

Technical Skills

• Strong analytical capability: able to read a BOM, build a cost component by component and navigate large datasets without losing sight of the objective.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, simulation models); knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent) is a plus.
• Solid project management foundations: able to build a project plan, track milestones and communicate progress.

KPI follow-up

• Owns the KPI dashboard: baseline setting, periodic reporting, variance analysis and proposal of corrective actions.

Demand analysis.

• Analyses the order portfolio, demand patterns and forecasts as structured input to planning and S&OP.

Material control.

• Governs MRP data quality: BOM accuracy in coordination with R&D (who creates/modifies BOMs), lead times, parameters and item master data; defines with R&D the standard of a "correct BOM".

Make-or-buy & should-cost.

• Builds should-cost models, leads make-or-buy analyses, provides Sourcing and management with cost breakdowns for negotiations and decisions.

Projects.

• Leads or coordinate cross-functional improvement projects (digitalization, process redesign, call-off implementation), ensuring progress and delivery of results.

Soft Skills

• Analytical rigor: figures presented must always be verified, consistent and defensible in front of management.
• Collaborative, service-oriented mindset towards line functions: does not control people but helps them make better decisions.
• Synthesis skills: able to turn complex analyses into clear, actionable outputs calibrated to the audience.
• Operational autonomy and proactivity identify problems before they are flagged and arrives with a proposal, not just a data point.
