Job summary

Rotork is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst - Supplier on a 9-month fixed term contract based at our Porcari, Lucca site. You will oversee upstream supply chain to ensure on-time delivery, material and information flow from suppliers to point of use, and drive process efficiencies.

Key responsibilities include KPI measurement, supplier master data management in the ERP, inventory right-sizing, and leading improvement projects with suppliers to minimize disruption and cost.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent workplace qualification.
• Experience in supply chain engineering/analytics or data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in Lean methodologies and process optimization.
• APIC certified and Six Sigma green belt training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee upstream supply chain to deliver customer service and operational excellence.
• Measure and report on supplier on-time delivery, lead time and order quantities.
• Manage supplier master data within the ERP system and communicate changes.
• Use inventory tools to right-size inventory of raw materials and purchased goods.
• Lead improvement projects with suppliers to reduce disruption and costs.

Supply Chain Analyst - Supplier (9-Month Contract)

• Full-time
• Department: Operations EMEA

This role is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) based at our Porcari, Lucca site.

The Supply Chain Engineer will oversee the upstream supply chain to deliver great customer service and operational excellence by delivering effective material and information flow from our suppliers to point of use. Taking full ownership for exceptional supplier on time delivery, whilst maximising process efficiencies and driving down inventory.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Responsible for raw material and purchase part SKU parameterization, ensuring the strategy is alignedwith the business requirements.
• Responsible for supplier master data within the ERP system. Escalation of communication from theSuppliers advising of a change to the agreement.
• Utilize inventory tools and techniques to ensure right sizing of inventory availability. Ensuring inventoryright-sizing on raw material and purchased goods in transit.
• Responsible for the measuring and reporting of the supply base performance for on time delivery, leadtime and order quantity.
• Build relationships with suppliers, working collaboratively on achieving the supply chain requirements.
• First level of escalation for shortages and expediting resolution and recovery.
• Lead upstream supply chain performance improvements projects, working with the Suppliers on rootcause countermeasures and action plans.
• Manage the product portfolio, life cycle and NPI process with Suppliers to minimize disruption to supply,obsolete inventory and associated costs, by actively managing the ERP system for the end to end supplychain.
• Develop the supply base using lean methodology ensuring their processes and systems are compatiblewith Rotork requirements and are at a comparable level of operational excellence.

• Educated to degree level or with appropriate workplace experience/qualification.
• 2-5years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, dashboard creation, and performance reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing supply chain environments, with solid knowledge of Lean methodologies and process optimization practices.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Fluent Italian (advanced level) and professional English (C1 level).
• APIC’s certified
• 6 Sigma green belt trained and/or lean equivalent.
