Rotork in Porcari (Lucca) is seeking an experienced Order and Contract Manager for a 9-month contract based at our facility. You will manage complex orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring customer requirements are met, reporting to Inside Sales and Contracts Manager, and coordinating with operations and engineering teams.

You will lead a team of Inside Sales and Contract Engineers, delegate tasks, handle escalations, and ensure forecasted delivery dates are accurate.

Competenze

• Must have engineering or technical background with exposure to order/contract management.
• Experience handling complex customer orders and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments is preferred.

This is a 9 month contract, based at our Porcari, Lucca site.

This pivotal position plays a vital role in upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently managing intricate orders from initiation to final delivery, ensuring all customer requirements are comprehensively met.

Reporting directly to the Inside Sales and Contracts Manager, you'll collaborate closely with operational and engineering teams, providing timely order updates to our valued customers.

As a leader within this role, you will oversee a team of Inside Sales and Contract Engineers, managing day-to-day responsibilities such as task delegation, addressing escalations, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of forecasted delivery dates across the entire team. Your role will involve effective communication and negotiation with both external clients and internal departments to facilitate smooth deliveries and address any special requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for an individual who thrives in high-pressure environments while consistently prioritising customer satisfaction above all else.

Experience Requirements:

• Degree in an Engineering discipline, recognised technical apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Order Management, Contract Management, Customer Service, Sales Operations, or a similar customer-focused role.
• Strong understanding of order processing, contract administration, and customer relationship management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
• Fluent Italian (advanced level) and professional English (C1 level).
