Rotork is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional for a 9-month fixed-term contract at the Porcari (Lucca) site. You will manage raw material SKU parameterization, supplier master data in the ERP, and lead upstream supply chain improvement projects.

Competenze

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Proven understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics and inventory management.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, dashboard creation, and performance reporting.
• Lean methodologies and process optimization experience; proactive ownership mindset.

This role is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) based at our Porcari, Lucca site.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Responsible for raw material and purchase part SKU parameterization, ensuring the strategy is aligned with the business requirements.
• Responsible for supplier master data within the ERP system. Escalation of communication from the Suppliers advising of a change to the agreement.
• Utilize inventory tools and techniques to ensure right sizing of inventory availability. Ensuring inventory right-sizing on raw material and purchased goods in transit.
• Responsible for the measuring and reporting of the supply base performance for on time delivery, lead time and order quantity.
• Build relationships with suppliers, working collaboratively on achieving the supply chain requirements.
• First level of escalation for shortages and expediting resolution and recovery.
• Lead upstream supply chain performance improvements projects, working with the Suppliers on root cause countermeasures and action plans.
• Manage the product portfolio, life cycle and NPI process with Suppliers to minimize disruption to supply, obsolete inventory and associated costs, by actively managing the ERP system for the end to end supply chain.
• Develop the supply base using lean methodology ensuring their processes and systems are compatible with Rotork requirements and are at a comparable level of operational excellence.

Essential:

• Educated to degree level or with appropriate workplace experience/qualification.
• 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, dashboard creation, and performance reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing supply chain environments, with solid knowledge of Lean methodologies and process optimization practices.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Fluent Italian (advanced level) and professional English (C1 level).

Desirable:

• APIC's certified
• 6 Sigma green belt trained and/or lean equivalent.
