Job summary

RIMOND Srl in Milan is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our Structural Design Team. You will perform structural analysis and design calculations for RC, steel and masonry, using Midas Gen and IDEA StatiCa, and produce technical reports and drawings.

Requirements include a Master’s in Civil Engineering, 5–6 years of experience, strong knowledge of NTC 2018 and Eurocodes, AutoCAD, Revit, and fluent Italian and English. Travel availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years of structural design and calculations experience.
• Strong expertise in static, dynamic, linear and non-linear analysis.
• Proficiency in Midas Gen and IDEA StatiCa.
• Experience in reinforced concrete, steel and masonry design.
• Solid knowledge of NTC 2018 and Eurocodes.
• Ability to prepare and review calculation reports and documentation.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit and BIM workflows.
• Fluency in Italian and English; travel availability.

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our Structural Design Team in our Milan office.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing structural analysis, modelling and design calculations for reinforced concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Conducting static and dynamic, linear and non-linear structural analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
• Developing structural design solutions in compliance with Italian Technical Standards (NTC 2018), Eurocodes and applicable project requirements.
• Using structural analysis and design software, particularly Midas Gen and IDEA StatiCa.
• Preparing structural calculation reports, technical documentation and design drawings.
• Assessing existing structures and developing solutions for structural rehabilitation, strengthening and retrofitting.
• Coordinating with architects, MEP engineers and other disciplines to ensure the technical integration of structural solutions.
• Supporting construction teams and providing technical assistance during project execution.
• Reviewing technical deliverables prepared by external consultants and subcontractors.
• Participating in client meetings, design reviews and technical coordination meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• At least 5–6years of experience in structural design and calculations.
• Strong expertise in structural analysis, including static and dynamic, linear and non-linear analysis.
• Proficiency in FEA software, particularly Midas Gen and IDEA StatiCa.
• Proven experience in the design of reinforced concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Solid knowledge of NTC 2018 and Eurocodes.
• Ability to prepare and review structural calculation reports and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit and BIM workflows.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Availability to travel when required.

Compensation and Employment Terms

The compensation and contractual terms will be defined based on the requirements of the position, as well as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and professional experience. The expected annual consultancy fee for the position ranges from €30,000 to €40,000, to be agreed upon based on the candidate’s profile and the terms of the consultancy agreement.
