Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Control System test bench leader for string testing in Italy. The role involves coordinating testing activities, managing external suppliers, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across mechanical and electrical work.

You will drive technical direction on non-conformities, contribute to continuous improvements, and liaise with product engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in Electrical/ Electronic subjects with hands-on field experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects with high intensity.
• Knowledge of turbomachinery system architecture and commissioning operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing activities on the string test bench with external suppliers.
• Drive safety, quality and on-time delivery for all bench operations (mechanical, electrical).
• Provide technical direction on non-conformities and liaise with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Draft and archive operation quality and safety reports and checklists.
• Ensure safety standards are followed by all personnel on site and manage project budgets.
• Capture and apply lessons learned to improve future operations.
