Ohb Italia in Lombardy, Italy, seeks a Space Mission Project Manager to lead complex space programs from concept to delivery, ensuring schedule, cost, and technical objectives are met. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage PMO activities, and act as the primary client contact to capture requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace PM, familiarity with ESA/ASI standards, strong budgeting, risk, and stakeholder management, plus fluent English.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of program management experience in space missions or aerospace projects, preferably with ESA/ASI.
• Strong financial acumen with cost estimation and budget management.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (MS Project, ECSS, PMP).

• Lead and manage complex space mission programs from concept to completion to achieve schedule, cost, and technical objectives.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and capturing customer requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance) for smooth project execution.
• Direct PMO activities, including Procurement Managers, to ensure timely, within-budget deliverables.
• Organize and lead project meetings, technical reviews, and workshops with clear outcomes and documentation.
• Oversee project finances: cost estimation, budget tracking, risk management, and performance reporting.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting schedule, budget, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ESA, ASI) throughout the lifecycle.
