Cosmic Group is seeking a hands-on Purchasing & Material Planning Manager to structure and develop the Purchasing function within a manufacturing context. The role combines procurement, supplier management and material planning, with leadership of a buyers team and direct involvement in ERP/MES initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years in Purchasing or Supply Chain, solid ERP/MRP experience, and a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and work with international suppliers.

Competenze

• At least 5–7 years of experience in Purchasing, Material Planning or Supply Chain within a manufacturing company.
• Direct experience with ERP/MRP systems, complex BOMs, inventory and shortage management.
• Experience leading or developing buyers, planners or supply-chain professionals.
• Good English and ability to work with suppliers and international teams.

Mansioni

• Lead, organise and develop a team of buyers with different experience levels and standardise purchasing processes.
• Implement an early BOM review process to identify supply risks and manage shortages.
• Source, qualify and develop national and international suppliers; negotiate prices, lead times and terms.
• Support Lean initiatives and the ERP/MES implementation; coordinate purchasing activities across sites.
