Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead end-to-end commercial development for the IET Industrial Power Generation business. The role drives bid strategy, pricing governance, and proposal execution with engineering, finance, and legal teams to maximize win rates and profitability.

You will mentor proposal managers and ensure compliant, competitive submissions while navigating a global-matrix organization and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related disciplines from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a project-oriented organization.
• Solid technical and commercial background in the Industrial Energy industry.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Be willing to travel as business requires (approx. 30%).

• Lead the preparation of commercial proposals for large and complex Power Systems opportunities coordinating multidisciplinary proposal teams.
• Define bid strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, product management, supply chain, and service teams.
• Ensure proposals are complete, compliant, competitive, and submitted on time.
• Support strategic pursuits from early engagement through contract award.
• Establish best practices for bidding, tendering, and commercial governance.
• Mentor proposal managers and tendering specialists.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase proposal quality and win rates.
