Job summary

Edgewing, based in Italy with a hybrid work model and a two-year secondment to Reading, seeks a Senior Product Owner / Project Manager to maximise product value and govern end-to-end delivery. You will translate business needs into a clear product vision, maintain a transparent backlog, and lead cross-functional delivery teams across architecture, engineering, security, and testing.

• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration across architecture, engineering, security, testing, and business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maximise product value by shaping and maintaining a clear, user-centric product vision aligned to business objectives.
• Maintain a transparent, prioritised product backlog reflecting strategy, stakeholder needs, and user outcomes.
• Translate business goals into well-defined features, epics, and user stories with clear value.
• Lead structured project planning with governance, milestones, and alignment to programme objectives.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to protect delivery predictability and quality.
• Act as central liaison between users, stakeholders, and delivery teams with strong communication.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with architecture, engineering, security, business analysis, testing.
• Uphold quality by validating increments meet acceptance criteria and user needs.
• Ensure timely delivery through oversight, blockers escalation, and evidence-based decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement via retrospectives and delivery insights to refine processes and outcomes.
