ABB in Italy is hiring a Procurement professional to buy materials per technical specs, price, delivery schedules, and terms within corporate policies. You will identify new suppliers and qualify them with supplier quality and engineering teams.

You will negotiate agreements, adapt contractual frameworks to local needs, evaluate bids, track deliveries, and manage supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and invoice accuracy.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Purchase materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.
• Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
• Identify new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.
• Qualify new suppliers with Supplier Quality and Engineering Specialists.
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew terms.
• Adapt corporate contractual framework to local business needs.
• Analyze and evaluate bids to determine optimal value.
• Track goods received to verify delivery and invoice processing.
• Oversee supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve issues.
• Initiate Purchase Orders in the system and confirm delivery with suppliers.
• Align supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.
