Job summary

Roche Italy seeks an Integrated Strategy Leader to set local strategy for the assigned portfolio and oversee its execution within a highly matrixed organization.

You will coach a cross-functional Squad, lead strategic initiatives across disease areas, and collaborate with GPS, PI, and affiliates to deliver patient-centered value while maintaining high ethical standards. Fluent Italian and English are required, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or life sciences.
• MBA or relevant post-graduate degree highly preferred.
• At least 10 years in pharmaceutical/biotech across multiple disciplines.
• Proven track record in customer-facing roles with budgeting/forecasting.
• Fluent in Italian and English; willing to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Set the overarching strategy for the Disease Area portfolio and lead its execution.
• Build, lead, and evolve a cross-functional Squad without direct line authority.
• Coach Squad members and the broader organization to develop leadership behaviours and drive diversity and inclusion.
• Maintain revenue and volume forecasting, direct strategic investments, and define initiatives for short- and long-term outcomes.
• Collaborate with GPS, PI, and affiliates; interface with global forums to align and execute high-impact work packages.
• Ensure ethics, safety, and compliance, keeping the patient at the center of decision-making.
