Job summary

Pero (Milan – Italy) location; Volvo Group is seeking a proactive Network Development Specialist to strengthen and evolve our dealer and authorised service network. You will combine strategic network planning, business analysis, project coordination and partner relationship management to identify the right locations and partners, support openings and ensure performance and compliance across the network.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in network development, dealer operations, automotive aftersales, retail development, business planning or project management.
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial statements, KPIs, market potential and investment cases.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, suppliers and contractual workflows with accuracy and ownership.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with mapping, CRM, workflow or dealer-management tools is an advantage.
Professional English and Italian, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel for site visits, dealer meetings, openings and audits.

Responsibilities

Network strategy & planning: develop market maps, action plans and SWOT analyses; monitor dealer performance.
Prospect assessment: lead end-to-end evaluations of prospective dealers and workshops.
Business potential analysis: assess territory overlap, drive-time coverage, investment recommendations.
Site standards & project delivery: coordinate site inspections, layout and identification projects.
Contracts & due diligence: coordinate drafting, signature, registration and digital archiving.
Dealer business planning: collect annual targets and internal inputs; prepare dealer business-plan meetings.
Onboarding & launch: coordinate new appointments, cross-functional activities and inauguration activities for new dealers.
Audit & compliance: plan network audits and monitor corrective actions.
Budget & performance control: prepare annual estimates for network investments and monitor spending.
Engagement & collaboration: animate dealer initiatives and drive progress.
Regulatory support: support VIN and SCIP-code declarations and regulatory meetings.
