Job summary

Momentive is seeking a Sr. Material Cost Analyst in Italy (Lombardia) to lead financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting for raw material and logistics costs.

You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to drive cost visibility and process improvements, while ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate cost reporting. The role requires 4–5 years in finance analytics, strong planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration, plus English fluency.

Qualifications

• Required finance-related degree or equivalent with professional accounting/finance knowledge.
• 4–5 years of progressive finance experience in analytic roles.
• Strong analytical and planning capabilities with cross-functional exposure.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and drive the execution of material cost.</br>Note: micro-editing to ≤140 chars; retained wording.
• Analyze raw material purchases and maintain financial controllership.
• Advise ops and finance on material cost; implement cost visibility improvements.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Analyze monthly inflation, variances, and budget/forecast processes.
• Design and improve raw material cost reporting with key partners.
