Sr. Material Cost Analyst

Sr. Material Cost Analyst at Momentive Performance Materials in Assago, LOM, IT.

Summary

This highly visible role is responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and controllership of raw material and logistics costs. In this position, you will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to drive cost visibility, improve processes, ensure compliance, and support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, analyzing, and driving execution of material cost.
• Analyze Raw Material purchases and maintain accuracy and controllership of financials.
• Advise Operations and Business Unit Finance teams on material and develop and implement process improvement recommendations to drive efficiencies and cost visibility.
• Responsible for delivering efficient and accurate financial reporting and analysis to internal clients (Operations/Supply Chain Management, Business Units and Sectors) and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards and Momentive's internal financial policies.
• Responsible for analysis of monthly Inflation, variance vs standard and financial reporting of logistics cost; budgeting process of material cost, quarterly forecasting, and ad hoc estimations.
• Design and improve process/reporting of Raw Material cost and work with appropriate business partners to deliver on assigned projects.
• Review and approve specific business transactions as determined by Momentive's delegation of authority policy, in coordination with Operations Finance Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, and Sector and Business Unit Management teams.

Qualifications

• The following are required for the role C.A/ MBA finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• Min. 4-5 years of progressive Finance experience as a Finance Analyst, Cost Analyst, Operations Analyst, or related role.
• Critical thinking and strategic mindset.
• Strong Material Cost Planning & Analysis, Financial analysis, Budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment across different time zones.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

What We Offer

Base Pay Range: €41.300 - €60.610 Compensation for this role will be competitive and aligned with market practices in the respective location and, where applicable, with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), including relevant sector agreements (e.g., the Chemical Industry agreement or, for executive roles, the agreement for Executives of Companies Producing Goods and Services in Italy). Actual pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and geographic location. Where applicable, country-specific salary ranges will be communicated during the hiring process in line with local pay transparency regulations.

This role may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation. Any such incentives are governed by the terms of the Company's applicable plans and are based on company performance and/or individual performance.
