Momentive is seeking a Sr. Material Cost Analyst in Italy to lead financial analysis, forecasting, and controllership of raw material and logistics costs. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to drive cost visibility and improve processes.

The role requires 4–5 years of finance experience, English fluency, and strong cost planning skills. SAP/BI, Excel, and PowerPoint are preferred, with a focus on cross‑functional collaboration in a global environment.

• Review and approve specific business transactions as determined by Momentive’s delegation of authority policy, in coordination with Operations Finance Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, and Sector and Business Unit Management teams.

Job Title and Summary

Sr. Material Cost Analyst

Summary: This highly visible role is responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and controllership of raw material and logistics costs. In this position, you will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to drive cost visibility, improve processes, ensure compliance, and support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working experience using SAP/Business Warehouse.
• Advanced MS Excel (Filters, Pivots, Dynamic Charts, Formulas, VLOOKUP), and MS PowerPoint experience
• Working knowledge of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls including Sarbanes-Oxley Act; U.S. accounting rules and regulations including historical cost, revenue recognition, matching and full disclosure principles.

What We Offer

Base Pay Range: €41.300 - €60.610 Compensation for this role will be competitive and aligned with market practices in the respective location and, where applicable, with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), including relevant sector agreements (e.g., the Chemical Industry agreement or, for executive roles, the agreement for Executives of Companies Producing Goods and Services in Italy). Actual pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and geographic location. Where applicable, country-specific salary ranges will be communicated during the hiring process in line with local pay transparency regulations.

This role may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation. Any such incentives are governed by the terms of the Company’s applicable plans and are based on company performance and/or individual performance.
