Job summary

GBfoods Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for its Agrate Brianza factory in Italy on a temporary, fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role leads HR activities at the plant, aligning with Local and Europe HR strategies while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities include strategic HR partnership, employee relations, recruitment, talent development, and budget reporting to support operational excellence and engagement.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of Italian labour law, health and safety regulations, and industrial relations.
• Experience working with trade unions and employee representatives.
• Native Italian speaker with advanced proficiency in English.
• Availability to work on-site at the Agrate Brianza factory.
• Access to own car preferred to commute to the factory.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR partnership and alignment of HR strategies with local and European priorities.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution with the HR Director.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and company policies; guide managers in daily practice.
