Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager - Data Foundations in San Giovanni Valdarno. You will define and deliver foundational data products, shaping the data model and ensuring trusted, scalable data across the organization.

You will collaborate with business, IT and data teams in a federated environment, drive data governance and quality, and translate business needs into data-driven initiatives that create measurable value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Product Management, Data Strategy, or related roles.
• Proven ability to influence business and IT decisions across stakeholders.
• Strong experience shaping data capture within ERP/CRM and other enterprise platforms.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and data architecture decisions.
• Experience in data governance, data quality and data ownership frameworks.
• Excellent discovery, problem-framing and prioritization skills with strong business acumen.
• Fluency in SQL and strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and delivery of foundational data products and data model dimensions.
• Represent the data community in business and IT initiatives and optimize data usage across systems.
• Drive data quality ownership with monitoring capabilities and proactive issue resolution at the source.
• Translate business changes into actionable data initiatives, coordinating priorities and timelines.
• Act as the data translator, turning business needs into data products, models and implementations creating value.
• Collaborate across a federated data organization to align stakeholders and deliver outcomes.
• Contribute to governance practices, ownership frameworks and operating models for data consistency and accountability.
• Partner with engineers and analytics teams to ensure data products meet business objectives and technical best practices.
