Job summary

Datalogic is seeking a Cost Engineer to join the Procurament Team in Italy. You will help shape product competitiveness through standardized cost processes, estimation, control and forecasting, closely coordinating with R&D and other stakeholders.

The role emphasizes value analysis, cost planning and inputs to cost reduction initiatives, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and fluent English required. The compensation package reflects the scope and market standards.

Qualifications

• Cost estimation and cost control
• Ability to forecast costs and track targets
• Experience in R&D or mechanical design is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute to target cost definition
• Support Technical cost Reduction activities with R&D/CM/SE
• Prepare cost planning and prioritize actions
• Assign and track Value Analysis progress with R&D/CM/SE
• Create RFQ standard formats for cost tables
• Maintain Cost Table for Should Cost analyses
• Lead Teardown Cost Analysis for competitor BOM costs
