Job summary

Unigrà S.r.l. in Conselice, Italy, is seeking a Category Buyer for Ingredients & Raw Materials to lead sourcing strategies for cocoa derivatives, sugar, cereal derivatives, plant-based ingredients, and gelato inputs.

You will monitor markets, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and coordinate a dedicated team across Quality, R&D, Production, and Finance to ensure material availability, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.

Qualifications

Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Food Science and Technology or related field.
Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Economics/Finance is a plus.
7–10+ years of procurement experience in food ingredients/manufacturing sectors.
Experience negotiating with strategic suppliers at national and international levels.

Responsibilities

Define, develop, and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories aligning with business objectives.
Monitor commodity markets, price movements, and macroeconomic factors.
Negotiate framework agreements and contracts with key suppliers.
Lead and develop the procurement team and coordinate cross-functional collaboration.
