Job summary

Unigrà, a global leader in high-quality ingredients for the food industry, seeks a Category Buyer - Ingredients & Raw Materials based in Conselice, Italy. You will define sourcing strategies for cocoa derivatives, sugar, cereals, and plant-based ingredients, ensuring availability and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Economics/Finance will be considered a plus.
• 7-10 years of experience in Procurement within structured industrial food environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories in alignment with business objectives.
• Continuously monitor commodity markets, trends, price movements, and macroeconomic factors.
• Negotiate framework agreements, supply contracts, and complex commercial terms.
• Lead supplier scouting and qualification processes to ensure diversification and risk mitigation.
• Lead, coach, and develop the assigned team and promote continuous improvement.
