Job summary

Shanghai BSF Human Resources Co., Ltd is assisting in recruiting a Director of Business Development for Italy, focused on the API CDMO market in Southern Europe. The role leads the full sales cycle from demand generation to account management across biotech, pharma, molecular diagnostics and related fields.

The candidate will develop market plans, build strategic customer relationships, analyze market dynamics, and collaborate with product management, marketing and R&D to expand our CDMO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Proven track record of success in business development within the Southern European API CDMO/CMO/CRO industry.
• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Background in procurement or R&D in leading CDMO companies preferred.
• Experience as Sales Director at a leading global CDMO company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute development and implementation of market plan and growth actions for target markets.
• Establish and develop account relationships based on defined strategy with key customers.
• Understand industry dynamics, market and product marketing dynamics, and competitor status.
• Work in cross-cultural, cross-functional environment with product management, marketing and R&D to grow the market.
• Strengthen local presence and provide local support in a timely and proactive manner.
