Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational logistics/warehousing is a plus.
• Proven storekeeping or warehouse/inventory experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is highly desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures in a warehouse.

Job Summary

The Storekeeper at CROWN Packaging Manufacturing Italy S.r.l. is responsible for managing the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and products within the warehouse, ensuring optimal stock levels and contributing to smooth operational flow.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects upon arrival and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse, adhering to company procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Prepare and issue materials and products for production, shipping, or other departments as requested.
• Ensure proper handling and packaging of materials to prevent damage during storage and transit.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently (if certified).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize material flow and resolve supply chain issues.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a vocational qualification in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehouse/inventory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
