CROWN Packaging Manufacturing Italy S.r.l. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility in Parma.

This role ensures optimal operational efficiency and minimizes downtime. Responsibilities include routine preventative maintenance on conveyors, presses, pumps, and automation machinery, diagnosing failures with schematics and manuals, and executing repairs while following safety

Competenze

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with common hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.

Mansioni

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, presses, pumps, motors, and automation machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
  • Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of defective parts, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
  • Install, align, and commission new mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring mechanical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout protocols.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs as needed.

Job Summary:
