Nestlé Italiana, Milan HQ (Assago) offers a full-time internship (6 months) in Demand & Supply Planning for the Coffee Business Unit. The role supports operations planning for iconic brands like Nescafé, Dolce Gusto and Starbucks.
Start date is October; monthly allowance is €900 with a company laptop, canteen access and gym nearby. The internship involves data analysis, KPI tracking, forecasting updates and cross-functional projects to improve cross-functional supply chain processes.
The resource will support the Demand & Supply Planning team for the Coffee Business Unit in managing operations planning for some of the world’s most iconic brands, such as Nescafé, Dolce Gusto and Starbucks.
Depending on the scope of the internship, the candidate will have the opportunity to take actions on daily operational activities, including maintaining optimal stock levels across the network, tracking KPIs and updating forecasts.
The candidate will also support the Demand Planner in data analysis activities, such as reviewing historical trends, identifying recurring patterns and contributing to the creation of dashboards and reporting/analytical tools
In addition, the candidate will contribute to projects aimed at improving cross-functional supply chain processes, with objectives such as reducing total delivered costs, enhancing service levels and optimizing waste.
During this internship, you will develop demand planning expertise, forecasting and analytical skills through SAP, Power BI, Power Query and reporting tools. You will also strengthen stakeholder management capabilities by collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams in a dynamic FMCG environment

You may be asked to discuss academic projects or experiences involving data analysis, reporting tools and problem solving, demonstrating your analytical mindset, ability to derive actionable insights from data and willingness to collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain stakeholders.
You will receive feedback at the end of the process, regardless of the outcome.
