Kong in Milan is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the AI Management product team. You will own modules enabling agentic AI, governance, and infrastructure, collaborating with global engineering and field teams.

The role requires translating technical issues into concrete specs and driving delivery across distributed teams. You will report to the Director & Head of AI Products, shaping roadmaps, prioritizing features, and ensuring delivery cadence while supporting sales and marketing

Competenze

7–10 years of product management experience shipping technical products.
Ability to drive delivery across distributed teams and time zones.
Translate complex infra problems into actionable specs for engineers.
Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
Solid project management instincts to track work and roadmap health.
Comfort discussing MCP servers, transport protocols, data plane architecture.

Mansioni

Own AI Management product modules from requirements to delivery with engineering.
Drive cross-product infrastructure work and align with Kong's platform.
Define roadmaps, balance new features with debt, and maintain cadence.
Bridge engineering, design, product marketing, and leadership for ownership areas.
Support field activities and sales enablement with product insights.
