Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Italy is seeking a Specialist Test Engineer to join our R&D team, developing firmware for automotive testing and producing test sequences for validation and characterization.

You will analyze test data, ensure quality, and advance automation while working with embedded memories (NVM, SRAM, ROM). Fluency in English is required and a one-year experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or similar.
• At least one year of experience as a Test Engineer preferred.
• Experience in embedded programming (C language).
• Knowledge of scripting tools, such as Python.
• Knowledge of embedded memories (NVM, SRAM, ROM) architecture is a plus.
• Experience or interest in AI/ML for data analysis, test automation, or process optimization.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for testing by translating concepts into firmware algorithms.
• Generate test sequences and machine patterns for test program, validation and characterization.
• Provide data analysis of test programs to support quality delivered, test cost and yield.
• Be a firewall for embedded memories testing concepts increasing the quality of deliverables.
• Improve automation on development workflow to mitigate project complexity.
• Analyze embedded memories design and technology evaluating corner cases and robustness.
