Infineon Technologies in Padova, Italy, seeks a Senior Application Engineer for our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team. You will partner with global customers to translate our automotive microcontroller solutions into robust designs and lasting success.

You will debug, optimize, and drive proofs-of-concepts, share expertise, train Field Application Engineers, and collaborate across Infineon R&D, product, and systems teams to resolve complex challenges.

Competenze

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Software Engineering.
• 3+ years in automotive Tier 1 or OEM environments with embedded systems development.
• Strong hands-on embedded software development in C.
• Low-level debugging knowledge (boot, startup, multicore, peripherals).
• Willingness to travel internationally (5–10 trips/year).
• Fluency in English.

Mansioni

• Be the trusted technical partner for selected worldwide key customers, supporting them throughout the development lifecycle.
• Debug complex technical issues remotely and on-site, drive proofs-of-concept, and showcase technical guidance.
• Leverage application know-how to prove superiority of Infineon solutions in real use cases.
• Coordinate with internal Infineon experts across R&D, product, and systems teams.
• Train and enable Field Application Engineers and customers in your area of expertise.
