Albelissa S.r.l. seeks a Hardware Electronics Designer to own the design, build, and bring-up of RF front-end electronics and antenna hardware for an X-band AESA radar payload. You will coordinate subcontractors for non-core boards and ensure HW/SW integration with the software team.

Required 3+ years in RF/microwave hardware design, hands-on RF testing, and experience with RF PCB design and simulation tools. Space environment qualification knowledge is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, or RF Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of RF/microwave hardware design experience with built prototypes and measurements.
• Hands-on RF testing with VNA, spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Experience owning a subsystem end-to-end and coordinating external suppliers.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or RF modeling tools.

Mansioni

• Lead RF/microwave front-end design including T/R modules, LNAs, PA, filters, mixers.
• Design AESA antenna/ phased array feed network with beam-steering capabilities.
• Produce RF PCB designs with impedance control and RF routing.
• Define calibration approaches for phased array and RF chain.
• Oversee hardware integration verification and in-orbit validation planning.
• Interface with subcontractors for digital FPGA boards, power, mechanical, and testing.
• Collaborate with software team to maximize HW/SW integration.
• Support qualification for space environment and document designs per standards.
