Job summary

Telespazio – Leonardo Space Division in IT - Fucino Space Centre, Italy, is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to join the EASE‑Mission product line. You will engage in requirements analysis, software development, testing, and documentation within a cloud‑native, microservices architecture, collaborating across teams.

The role requires a university degree in computer science and at least 2 years in back‑end web projects (Java 11+, Spring Boot), plus RESTful services, front‑end basics, and English

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in back-end web projects.
• Experience in building back-end architectures and RESTful services.
• Front-end graphical interface design experience.
• Knowledge of version control tools (SVN, GIT).
• Familiarity with microservice architectures, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JSON and Python.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and software development.
• SW configuration control and versioning tasks.
• Unit testing, integration testing, system testing and validation.
• SW corrective maintenance and debugging.
• Drafting and contributing to project documentation (manuals, drawings, user stories, test documents).
• Participation in technical and progress meetings.
