Thales Alenia Space is seeking a Data Handling Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Italy. The role emphasizes understanding customer needs, formalizing system architectures, and leading integration and testing activities.

You will contribute to design-to-cost considerations and collaborate across engineering domains. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in engineering, have hands-on software/hardware experience, and can lead engineering activities while mentoring peers.

Competenze

Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience in software/hardware, systems engineering and IVVQ activities.
Desire to continuously update expertise and design innovative solutions.
Experience in conception, requirement management, development, test, integration or validation.
Strong teamwork and collaborative mindset.
Mentor and share knowledge across teams.

Mansioni

Analyze and understand customer needs through studies, simulations, mock-ups, models or prototypes.
Formalize specifications and architecture for the best client solutions.
Prepare and execute integration, verification and validation tests.
Define test plans and procedures for system-level testing.
Ensure coherence of system design, interfaces and performances.
Design the architecture of the command and control system.
Demonstrate the solution to the customer.
