Thales Alenia Space is seeking a Data Handling Engineer to join our team in Italy (Rome area). The candidate will analyze customer needs, formalize architectures, and lead integration and verification activities in a challenging, technically driven environment.

We value English fluency, a master’s in Electronic Engineering or CS, and experience in IVVQ, systems engineering, and cross-domain collaboration. A competitive package includes performance bonuses and career growth opportunities.

Competenze

• Master degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Fluent in English (C1 or higher).
• Experience in Software and/or Hardware, Systems Engineering and IVVQ activities.
• Desire to update expertise and design innovative solutions.
• Strengthen expertise in conception, requirement management, development, test, integration or validation.
• Strong teamwork and mentoring skills.

Mansioni

• Analyse and understand customer needs through studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, etc.
• Formalise specifications and architecture to propose best solution for clients.
• Prepare and carry out integration, verification and validation tests.
• Define test plans and procedures for system level testing.
• Ensure technical integration and coherence of system design, interfaces, and performances.
• Design the architecture of the command and control system.
• Demonstrate the solution to the customer.
