Thales Alenia Space in Italy seeks an Satellite Navigation Payload IVVQ Engineer to join a diverse team working on verification, validation and integration activities across test environments. You will contribute to test campaigns, design and execute tests, and drive demonstrations for customers.

Ideal candidates hold a Master of Engineering and demonstrate leadership, collaboration and problem-solving skills. English fluency is beneficial for international projects within the Thales group.

Competenze

  • Master of Engineering in Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven collaboration and teamwork abilities; able to work across diverse projects.
  • Analytical, structured and synthetic thinking; capable of problem-solving.
  • Strong communication: convincing and persuasive with customers and teams.
  • Willing to mentor junior members and handle complex, multi-stakeholder tasks.

Mansioni

  • Perform module, program or unit testing of software components.
  • Define integration tree aligned with system release plan.
  • Develop/deploy/maintain software for test activities (design, execution, results).
  • Provide investigative support for staging or SIL environments with software/hardware tools.
  • Identify test equipment and calibration requirements for each activity.
  • Plan, estimate, monitor and control IVVQ activities.
  • Define validation criteria to assess solution compliance.
  • Satisfy customer expectations and lead demonstrations to end customer.
