Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a leadership-focused regional manager for the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) BU in Italy. The role oversees a field team, coaches Territory Managers and Field Clinical Specialists, and drives therapy growth across a defined southern region including Naples and Rome.

You will partner with management and HQ stakeholders to optimize sales, education and market development. The position requires 8+ years in sales with 5+ years of people leadership in medical devices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field (economics or engineering preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience with a strong track record in growth.
• Sales and people management experience of at least 5 years, preferably leading high-performing teams.
• Extensive medical devices industry experience is required.
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology therapy and market is an asset.
• Fluency in Italian and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Coach and manage the Territory Managers and Field Clinical Specialists to achieve sales targets across assigned territories.
• Demonstrate strong people leadership, drive motivation, performance, and development through a learning culture.
• Support field team with external agents where applicable.
• Promote and sell product portfolio to current and new customers; build relationships with key decision makers.
• Lead short- and long-term territory/account planning and therapy development activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, pricing, marketing, HR) regularly.
• Contribute to local Marketing activities to reinforce Edwards leadership and therapy adoption.
• Perform other duties as required.
