Job summary

Ralph Lauren is seeking a Capacity Assurance Assistant to support the Senior Sourcing Manager across the EMEA region, with a focus on Italy Sourcing – Apparel. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and update vendor master data in the Vendor Management System (VMS).
• Monitor supplier information, addresses, banking details, and legal entity changes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of supplier data in the vendor database.
• Maintain daily communication with partners in the vendor approval process.
• Follow up on special projects: Responsible Purchasing Practices Survey, Regenerative Farming Initiatives, Recycled Cotton Programs.
• Monitor supplier scorecards and KPIs updates.
• Update and maintain records of suppliers’ capabilities and production capacity.
• Support analysis and monitoring of production capacity.

We are looking for a Capacity Assurance Assistant to support the Senior Sourcing Manager in Apparel Capacity Assurance activities across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on operational activities for the Italy Sourcing – Apparel group. This position is reserved for candidates belonging to Protected Categories under Italian Law 68/99.

Vendor Management & VMS System

• Manage and update vendor master data within the Vendor Management System (VMS)
• Monitor and maintain supplier information, including addresses, banking details, and legal entity changes
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of supplier data within the vendor database

Partner Coordination & Communication

• Maintain daily communication with partners involved in the Ralph Lauren vendor approval process

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent)

Technical Skills

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (B2/C1 level)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, calculations)
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
• Previous experience with or knowledge of VMS systems and MicroStrategy (preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

Experience

• Previous experience in administrative roles or supplier coordination activities (preferred)

This position is reserved for candidates registered under Italy's protected categories legislation (Law 68/99).

Starting base salary equal to €27.500 (full-time). Once the successful candidate is selected, the salary offer will be based on objective and gender-neutral criteria such as experience, skills, responsibilities, and location.

Contractual level: CCNL Commercio – Level 4. Temporary contract 12 months.

Meal Vouchers: €8.65/day per worked day of at least 6 hours.
