Ralph Lauren Home is opening its flagship store in Milan and seeks a Sales & Design Consultant to support the sales team, advise clients, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. The role requires 2–3 years in luxury furniture or interiors, strong clienteling and product knowledge, and fluency in English and Italian.

You will report to the Store Manager and participate in events and promotions. Full-time position, based in Milan showroom, with a 40-hour work week from Monday to Saturday.

Competenze

• 2–3 years of experience in luxury furniture or luxury goods
• Proven sales track record and strong commercial awareness
• Experience working with private clients, interior designers and architects
• Strong knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, textiles and interior decoration
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Interior Design, Architecture, Design or related field
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus

• Contribute to expanding the client database through data registration and profiling
• Assist Store Manager with organizing events and promotional activities
• Greet customers and provide outstanding hospitality and sales service
• Listen to and engage customers, using selling skills to match their needs

Luxury Living Group is seeking a motivated Sales & Design Consultant for his new Ralph Lauren Home flagship store in Milan.

About the Role

The Sales & Design Consultant will support the Sales Team for providing customers with all the requested information and advise them concerning acquisitions by ensuring an outstanding sales experience. The Sales & Design Consultant reports directly to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

• Contribute to further expand the company database through client data registration and profiling.
• Support the Store Manager in organizing events and promotional activities to target.

Client Experience & Clienteling:

• Meet and greet customers that come into the Showroom, providing outstanding level of hospitality.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Actively listen to and engage customers, using appropriate selling skills to match the customer’s needs, and ensure their decisions.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as prospect for new customers.
• Offer information and technical support to customers about the products.
• Identify and investigate customer complaints and service suggestions.

Store Operations & Brand Standards

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standard.
• Maintain accurate inventory and store goods.
• Check all products to see if they are not damaged.
• Use the company reporting tools (quote/project registration, traffic registration, CRM).
• Prepares sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and categorizing sales information.
• Provide support to the Store Manager in implementing programs and execute operational and organizational objectives.

Experience and Education:

• Previous experience (2-3 years) in high-end furniture or luxury good Industry will be appreciated; years of experience in luxury retail, luxury interiors, furniture, home décor, design or lifestyle brands.
• Proven sales track record and strong commercial awareness
• Experience working with private clients, interior designers and architects.
• Strong knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, textiles, accessories and interior decoration is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Interior Design, Architecture, Design, Business or related field.

Technical and Soft skills:

• Strong sensitivity to luxury, interiors, aesthetics and client experience.
• Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of retail KPIs.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and clienteling mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Responsibility, reliability and proactive attitude.
• Positive and enthusiastic team player;
• Attitude to problem solving and oriented to achieve the goals;
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM tools.

The salary range stated in this job advertisement reflects an estimated average range for the position. The final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.
