Job summary

New Amsterdam Technology & Business Ventures in Italy is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer with a deep background in Zero Trust networking, ZTNA, and secure connectivity. You will perform technical discovery, craft solution designs, and run proofs-of-concept for enterprise customers, working closely with regional sales, Product, and Engineering to translate capabilities into business value. Fluent Italian and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in networking, network security, Zero Trust, ZTNA, SASE or secure connectivity.
• Ability to discuss network architectures with a CISO and translate capability into business value.
• Experience with VPN technologies, cloud networking or identity and access management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution design and proof-of-concepts for enterprise customers.
• Serve as the technical sales presence in Italy and France, collaborating with the regional Account Executive.
• Coordinate with Product and Engineering to shape roadmap based on customer requirements.

Solutions Engineer | Zero Trust Networking | Italy | Series A

This isn't a demo role. It's the technical backbone of a new market.

We're partnering with a fast-growing European cybersecurity company rebuilding secure remote access for the modern enterprise, as demand for sovereign, European-built security accelerates. Strong product-led adoption, a loyal technical user community, a funded Series A, revenue growing multiples year on year, and rising enterprise demand across Southern Europe.

What we need:

An experienced Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect with a deep technical background in networking, network security, Zero Trust, ZTNA, SASE or secure connectivity. Someone who can discuss network architectures with a CISO, troubleshoot complex environments with an engineering team and translate capability into business value. Experience with VPN technologies, cloud networking or identity and access management is a strong plus. Fluent in Italian, preferably French as well, plus strong English.

What you'll own:

Technical discovery, solution design and proof-of-concepts for enterprise customers. The technical sales presence in Italy and France , working side by side with the regional Account Executive. A direct line to Product and Engineering, with real customer requirements shaping the roadmap. Genuine ownership and direct access to leadership from day one.

Legacy remote access is breaking. Someone has to prove its replacement works.
