Job summary

METLEN is seeking an O&M Technician to join our M Renewables team in Italy. The role focuses on daily operations, maintenance, and reliability of solar PV plants across multiple locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and maintain accurate logs and documentation.

You will monitor performance data, support spare parts handling, and work with external contractors. Traveling to sites is required and you may work remotely as needed, following safety

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in maintenance or troubleshooting of solar PV plants or related electrical/industrial experience.
• Basic understanding of PV systems, including string inverters, trackers, MV/LV equipment, and monitoring systems.
• Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Knowledge of Italian HSE legislation and willingness to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and support corrective maintenance on solar PV plants.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues and escalate complex faults.
