METLEN is seeking an O&M Technician for our M Renewables team in Italy. The role covers preventive maintenance, fault troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of solar PV plants, with travel to multiple sites and remote work as needed.

You will document maintenance activities, use CMMS systems, and support contractors while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Fluency in Italian and basic English are required.

Competenze

• 1–2 years of maintenance or troubleshooting experience on PV plants or similar facilities.
• Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Fluent Italian; basic English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of Italian HSE legislation and ability to follow safety procedures.

Mansioni

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and support corrective maintenance on solar PV plants.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, escalating complex faults when needed.
• Monitor basic plant performance indicators and ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain maintenance logs and technical reports; support updating server files and backups.
• Support spare parts handling and assist external contractors during onsite interventions.
• Use CMMS and other internal tools according to company procedures.
• Work remotely as required and travel regularly to various solar plant locations.
