Job summary

Flex is seeking a motivated SW Quality Engineer Intern to join an international cross-functional team focused on embedded firmware/software testing for medical devices. You will work under the Software Quality Manager, contributing to formal verification and risk assessments while collaborating with hardware, software, and manufacturing colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with interest in Cyber Security topics.
• Intermediate experience on software and firmware development.
• Knowledge of build, release and configuration management; source revision control; software verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of SW and FW for products under development.
• Participate in cybersecurity testing and threat modeling activities.
• Perform software risk analysis and cybersecurity risk assessment for medical products.
• Develop and execute test cases and documentation for software/firmware deliveries.
• Interface with customers as quality engineer reference for software/firmware activities.
